To elevate this condo, the client had a specific goal: a design with striking textures and elements throughout. In the living room, we set the stage with a dramatic display unit that frames a Nero Marquina marble mantelpiece–naturally, its beautiful white veining draws the eye. The home office nook received a touch of whimsy with teal, leaf-patterned wallpaper and sleek built-in bookshelves. In the bedroom, we created a harmonious balance between serenity and impact: the soft pastel blues and furry throw blanket feel soothing, while the exposed bulb light fixture adds an edgy contrast. Overall, this delicate blend of drama and sophistication captured the client’s vision.
