Repeal Lounge

Sexy luxury with a whisper of downtown grit–that was the plan for this King Street speakeasy bar in Toronto. Drawing inspiration from French Burlesque and Art Nouveau, we dialed up the theatrical flair while keeping things feeling posh and private. The Victorian chandeliers cast a romantic glow, while the fuchsia LED lights have an intimate, flirty vibe. For an authentic urban edge, we placed traditional furniture against an exposed brick wall. The owners loved how we achieved a seductive setting with just enough industrial features to feel ruggedly vintage.
